M A E is the acronym we like to use to help explain the three simple steps people can take to be a good advocate for mental health wellness.

1. Mindset

Making the decision to not let mental illnesses define you or others is the first step. Choose to ignore the stigma associated with mental illnesses and don’t judge people because of their struggles.

2. Actions

Actions are imperative to pushing for continued progress in the mental health field which is why it is part two. Under resources you can find various non-profits we recommend getting involved with.

3. Education

Finally educating yourself through various volunteer opportunities can be fantastic. Along with developing a deeper understanding, you can share the knowledge with others.
